Our first new Fresh in the Deli dish is the simply named Kale Salad from GreenStar Cooperative Market in Ithaca, New York. A colorful, earthy mix of raw kale, cabbage, beets, carrots and broccoli are tossed in a gingery sesame-miso dressing and sweetened with agave.
Our second Fresh in the Deli dish is the sweet and crunchy Broccoli Grape Salad from St. Peter Food Co-op & Deli in St. Peter, Minnesota. Popular with kids and adults, this unique salad combines the crunch of celery, toasted almonds and broccoli florets with juicy red grapes and a creamy dressing.
