Fresh in the Deli

Our new Fresh in the Deli recipe this month is Black-Eyed Peas with Butternut Squash. Co-ops chefs from around the country share their favorite seasonal recipe with your local co-op for this regular feature. Featuring tender black-eyed peas, corn, jalapeño pepper, tomatoes and chunks of butternut squash, gently seasoned with cumin, coriander and chili powder. Delicious warm or cold!

Have you tried our Deli’s Raw Deal Salad? We are really excited about it! This good-for-you vegan and raw shredded salad is chockfull of powerhouse ingredients like kale, spinach, carrots, walnuts and pumpkin seeds tossed in a dressing of olive oil, lemon juice, mint, oregano, garlic and jalapenos! This Raw Deal will do your body right!
