We are proud to be supporting Safe Place this February through our Community Action Wednesday donation program. The Mission of Safe Place is ending sexual and domestic violence through safety, healing, prevention and social change.We will donate 1% of total store sales on 2/1, 2/8, 2/15 and 2/22. Your shop on these days will help contribute to our overall donation.
If you can't shop on these days but would like to support Safe Place please consider donating your bag refunds or making a cash donation at checkout. We will also be collecting pantry items for the shelter through February 29th. Collection bins are near the Hospitality Desk.
And thank you to everyone who contributed to People's Community Clinic. We collected dozens of children's books for their waiting room and were able to raise a cash contribution of $2,517.11!!! WOW!!! Thank you so much for your generosity! Our Wheatsville family never fails to amaze us.

Even though they are "natural" and not organic, the Pico and Spicy flavors don't use any weird preservatives or chemicals.

New England Steamed Cheese Burger Touchdown!Wheatsville is now offering Maple Leaf Farms Pekin Duck. Antibiotic-free, hormone-free and humanely raised these guys are available whole for $5.49 / lb. or parted into leg quartes and boneless breast. We also offer the giblets and unrendered fat. Try making Duck Confit with the leg quarters. More uses for duck fat can be found on our blog.
Wings are always a safe bet with football. We have our pre rubbed Six Pepper Wings or if you prefer to construct your own flavor profile just remember a couple of easy steps. Rub your wings, roast for about 15 minutes to dry out the skin. Baste them and cook for 10 minute intervals for about thirty minutes. I hear we will be stocking the Stubbs Wing Sauce. I have used this very sauce with the Six Pepper Rub Wings and it has been great.
Got smoke? Slow cook some Niman Ranch St. Louis Style Pork Ribs. No smoke? The oven works just fine. We will also have the Niman Ranch Pre cooked and sauced Ribs. Just heat and serve these for an easy game day treat.
Sausage? We have great in house made grilling sausages. The Tipsy Cow Beef Sausage, made with North Coast Brewery's PranQster is great on the grill and also makes a great burger. The Hot Italian is also a great solo grilling Sausage. Our Chorizo is great in queso. The Beef and Lamb and the Chicken Curry Sausage would also make great additions to other finger type foods. The Cilantro lime Chicken Patty is a great alternative to a beef burger, and the Premium Grind makes an amazing burger that will blow away all your friends.
Fancy pigs in a blanket? Over in the refrigerated section section Wheatsville has Immaculate Baking Co. Crescent rolls. Cut these guys into triangles and place a quarter hot dog per triangle in the middle and roll it up. Bake as per the Crescent Roll instructions and there you go. What kind of Hot Dog you ask? We have several options. In the self serve case we have the Niman Ranch Fearless Franks. These guys have a great Beef flavor and come from one of our favorite sustainable and humanely raised sources. The Tanka Dog is probably my favorite option that Wheatsville carries. A Buffalo dog that has really great flavor. These guys are really good. In the freezer, we have Apple Gate Farms Great Organic Beef Hot Dogs and Apple Gate Turkey Dogs. The Organic Beef Dogs are at a great new lower price, and the Turkey dogs are a great alternative to red meat hot dogs.
Wheatsville now has Organic Chicken, then you're in luck. We have Mary's Free Range Chicken. These Chickens are third party certified humanely treated by the Step 5 Program with Global Animal Partnership. Check out the Step 5 Certification, and Mary's Free Range Chicken. These are at a great new price for Wheatsville. The 8 pc. Fryer is $5.49/lb while the Boneless Skinless Breast is $9.99/lb. and the Thighs are $5.99lb. They all come in "trayless" tray packs that have no Styrofoam.
