Wheatsville Board Book Group--May 4, 2010
Your Board is currently reading a book called Tribes, by Seth Godin, which is all about how groups of people come together and make change through good, strategic leadership and communication. Godin calls these groups "tribes" because they are "a group of people connected to one another, connected to a leader, and connected to an idea." We are currently working on strategically understanding how we can better lead and connect with our tribe--Wheatsville Owners! This is a perfect example of the strategically focused, "big picture" work of your Board, and the Board invites you to be a part of the conversation. The Board will host a strategic learning book group discussion on Tribes, Tuesday, May 4. To join, even if you haven't read the book, meet at the Hospitality Desk at 5:30 pm. If you'd like to join us, but don't have time to read the book, you can watch Seth Godin's lecture on Ted.com.
